Kimberly Allen

Kimberly Allen is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Nursing Department at Salisbury University. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (in progress), a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University (Management and Health Care Policy), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing from Salisbury University.

Her professional experience spans roles at Johns Hopkins Hospital Cancer Center (Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse, Acting Nurse Manager), Greater Baltimore Medical Center (Inpatient/Outpatient Oncology Manager), and Salisbury University since 2002 as Adjunct Faculty, progressing to a Tenure Track position by 2014. She serves as Nursing Resource Coordinator and has held roles like Medical Co-Lead for the Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy (2014) and liaison with the Eastern Shore Dental Society (2012-2013).

Research and professional activities include leadership in Sigma Theta Tau International, a 2013 WRNRC Doctoral Student Research Conference poster presentation, and focus areas in oncology care, adult health, and healthcare leadership.
