Brenda Smith Nettles, DNP, is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in advanced cancer care, symptom management, and patient empowerment. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, she played a key role in developing cancer treatment programs and establishing standards for evidence-based clinical practice.
