Kim Anno is a Professor in the Painting and Drawing Program at California College of the Arts (CCA), where she has taught since 1996. Her work bridges art and science, focusing on climate change, water, and cultural resilience. She was awarded the 2024 Guggenheim Fellowship to develop a project involving sculpture, paintings, and video installations. Notable works include the documentary ¡Quba! (2024) and Water Cities, Indonesia, funded by the US Department of State and Henry Luce Foundation. Her art is held in collections like the Berkeley Art Museum and Library of Congress.
