Khalid M. Khan, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Sam Houston State University (SHSU), specializing in environmental epidemiology and public health interventions. He leads research on neurobehavioral health effects of environmental contaminants and evaluates low-cost interventions to reduce health disparities in vulnerable populations. His work spans multiple countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Ecuador, and India. Dr. Khan teaches courses in epidemiology, environmental health, and global health at SHSU and actively publishes with students in peer-reviewed journals.
