Kevin Varga is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at James Madison University's College of Integrated Science & Engineering. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Geography from UC Santa Barbara (expected 2025) and dual undergraduate degrees in Geography and Geology from Colgate University.
His research integrates data science, field work, and community engagement to analyze wildfire drivers, with interests spanning:
