Kevin Spink, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education at the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS), part of the School of Education. He teaches in the elementary MAT program, focusing on intermediate literacy methods, curriculum development, and learning management courses. With 25 years of K-12 teaching experience in Alaska, he specializes in literacy, science, and environmental education. He holds an M.A. in Language, Literacy, and Culture, and a Ph.D. in Teacher Education from the University of Arizona.
