Kevin Matthew Carr

Dr. Kevin Matthew Carr is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Marketing Department at the College of Business, The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where he joined in Fall 2019. He serves as the Coordinator of the Business Communication program and teaches courses such as BCOM 3360, BCOM 4380, and BCOM 5375. He also serves as a Faculty Facilitator at the UTA Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence (CRTLE).

Dr. Carr's research focuses on generative artificial intelligence and disinformation in social media, particularly in educational and nonprofit contexts. He integrates cutting-edge AI tools into his pedagogy and advocates for ethical and effective use of technology in business communication.

His recent scholarly output centers on AI-driven teaching strategies and disinformation resilience in organizations. These works reflect a strong trend toward leveraging technology for educational enhancement and organizational communication effectiveness, particularly in upper-level business courses.
