Kevin Keenan, PhD, is a core faculty member at the Michigan School of Psychology (MSP), where he teaches courses in statistics, psychometrics, quantitative research, supervision, and dissertation preparation. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is actively engaged in the academic and professional psychology community.
His educational background includes a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland and MS and PhD degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Detroit Psychiatric Institute and was a National Institute of Mental Health fellow.
Dr. Keenan's research and professional interests center on humanistic and clinical psychology, with emphasis on recovery, spirituality, ethics, lifespan development, counseling and psychotherapy, psychological testing, and the integration of qualitative and quantitative research methods. He also chaired MPA’s e-committee on electronic and internet issues in psychology practice.
