Dr. Kevin Kambo is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Dallas. His research focuses on classical Greek philosophy, particularly Platonic moral psychology, alongside interests in philosophy of technology, literature, and liberal education. He holds a PhD and MA in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America, and a BS in Chemistry from Stanford University.
His work bridges ancient thought with contemporary contexts, such as analyzing Platonic concepts in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-Earth narratives. He has published in journals like Studia Patristica and Acta Philosophica, and his writings explore topics ranging from Augustine's theories of divine punishment to Socratic rhetorical strategies in Plato's Gorgias.
A proponent of interdisciplinary dialogue, he integrates literary analysis with philosophical inquiry. His current projects include a study on Newman's philosophy of mind in relation to Platonic psychology.
