Kevin J. Murphy is Professor of Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, where he holds the Kenneth L. Trefftzs Chair in Finance and serves as Chair of the Department of Finance and Business Economics. An internationally recognized expert on executive compensation, Professor Murphy's research has significantly influenced both academic understanding and regulatory frameworks in corporate governance.
