David L. Yermack

David L. Yermack is the Albert Fingerhut Professor of Finance and Business Transformation at New York University Stern School of Business, where he has been a faculty member since 1994. He serves as Director of the NYU Pollack Center for Law and Business. His academic work bridges finance, law, and corporate governance, with a growing focus on blockchain and digital currencies.

Yermack earned his PhD, MA, MBA, JD, and BA in Economics from Harvard University, demonstrating a multidisciplinary academic foundation. His educational background includes degrees in both business and law, enabling his unique perspective on corporate governance and financial regulation.
