Dr Kevin Herbert is a Researcher at the Department of Public Health and Primary Care (PHPC) at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BSc in Medical Microbiology from Surrey University, a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Sheffield, and an MSc in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare from City University, London.
His research focuses on health economic evaluation of healthcare and social service delivery, including work with the NIHR-funded Rapid Service Evaluation Team (RSET). Key areas of interest include cost-effectiveness modeling for UK HTA submissions, genomic services in public health, and economic evaluations of interventions for child maltreatment, domestic violence, and respiratory diseases.
