معرفی
Kevin Hainline is an active Associate Research Professor at Steward Observatory, University of Arizona, serving as a member of the JWST/NIRCam Science Team. His work focuses on galaxy evolution in the high-redshift universe, active galactic nuclei (AGN), and infrared science, with expertise in brown dwarf detection and science communication.
- PhD in Astronomy from University of California, Los Angeles
- BSc in Physics from Harvey Mudd College
His research bridges observational cosmology and galactic astrophysics, emphasizing JWST data analysis to uncover:
- Galaxies at redshifts exceeding 14
- Photometric methods for AGN-host galaxy co-evolution
- Low-temperature brown dwarf identification in Milky Way
Kevin actively contributes to science outreach through Skype A Scientist, virtual lectures on relativity, and JWST's role in future astronomy. He developed data reduction guides for MDM/OSMOS and SALT/RSS instruments and participates in the JADESView project for galaxy visualization.
