Kevin Fox

Professor Kevin Fox leads research in synaptic plasticity at Cardiff University's School of Biosciences. His laboratory investigates mechanisms controlling synaptic plasticity in the cerebral cortex, focusing on tactile information processing, neuronal activity modification through experience, and cortical circuit formation. Research employs advanced microscopy to visualize synaptic changes during learning and sensory discrimination.

Current projects examine sensory processing modification, experience-dependent synaptic reorganization, and neural rehabilitation approaches.
