Kevin Cummings is a Professor in the Department of Communication Studies and Theatre at Mercer University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and an affiliated faculty member in the Department of Women's and Gender Studies.
His educational background includes:

Dr. Cummings' research explores intersections between rhetoric and media, with specific focus on artificial intelligence applications, invasion ecology discourse, and social media platforms like Twitter. His work bridges communication theory with contemporary technological and environmental challenges, emphasizing ethical implications in digital citizenship and ecological rhetoric.
He has secured significant research funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, AT&T, and the International Debate Education Association.
