Dr. Kevin Adams is an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences, part of the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Bradford. He transitioned to academia in 2014 after extensive industry experience, including roles at Huntingdon Life Sciences and commercial ventures. His leadership roles include Director of Student Support and Engagement for over 1,200 students and leading the School’s involvement in the Digital Health Enterprise Zone. He previously co-founded Incanthera Ltd and contributed to commercial initiatives like Ethical Tissue and the Electrodiagnostics Unit.
Research interests span digital healthcare technologies (e.g., electronic patient records), drug formulation (using Taylor Dispersion analysis), and cancer diagnostics via tissue microarrays. Collaborations include work with Malvern Instruments and Paraytec Ltd on anticancer agents like ICT2588 and Es5. His teaching focuses on toxicology, entrepreneurship, and AR/VR tools in pharmacy education.
