Huw Simon Jones

Dr. Huw Simon Jones is a Lecturer in Drug Metabolism and Medical Biochemistry at the School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences, University of Bradford, under the Faculty of Life Sciences. He leads the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team at the Institute for Cancer Therapeutics.

Research interests focus on the pharmacology of natural products (e.g., dietary polyphenols) in age-related diseases, drug pharmacokinetics, synthesis of drug metabolites, and methods for measuring reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) in cellular systems. His work emphasizes physiologically relevant in vitro models.

Teaching spans biochemistry and pharmacology modules in Clinical Sciences, MSc, and MRes programmes.

Labs/Teams: Leads the DMPK team at the Institute for Cancer Therapeutics, University of Bradford.
