Dr. Kevin A. O'Brien is a Visiting Professor in Digital Intelligence and Cyber Security at King's College London's Department of War Studies, within the School of Security Studies. He serves as a security consultant to governments and the private sector, with prior roles in the Canadian Government and RAND Europe. Holding a PhD from the University of Hull, his expertise spans over 30 years of research in intelligence, cyber security, and counter-terrorism.
His research focuses on Five Eyes alliances, cyber threats, African security dynamics, and the privatization of military/security functions.
