Kevan Jacobson

Dr. Kevan Jacobson is a Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Southern Utah University (SUU), part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, he served over 30 years as a lawyer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, leading major legal operations and mentoring future leaders. He joined SUU in 2015 after retirement, teaching courses in criminal law, evidence, terrorism, and American government. His teaching emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, using examples from history, science, and more.
