Kevan Harris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is also Vice Chair of the department and affiliated with the Asia Pacific Center at UCLA. His research focuses on development and social change in the global South, with particular expertise in the political sociology of the Middle East and Central Asia.
