Dr. Oloff has organized interdisciplinary events including the 'Ecologies and the Arts' research group (since 2014), the 'World-Ecology Network' conference (2016), and currently directs the Centre for Culture and Ecology. Her work addresses themes like energy humanities, anti-extractivism, and the intersection of gender with ecological crises. She teaches courses on Caribbean ecocriticism, Cuban cinema, and postcolonial debates.
Her publications span peer-reviewed journals (Journal of Postcolonial Writing, Green Letters), edited collections, and book reviews. She frequently engages with speculative fiction and Gothic traditions to explore socio-ecological degradation and global systems of power.
