Kerry Anne Mazurek

Kerry Anne Mazurek is an Associate Professor in the Civil Geological and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Saskatchewan (on sabbatical). She holds degrees including B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D.(Alta.), specializing in Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics.

Research Focus: Her work centers on drownproofing hydraulic structures, environmental fluid mechanics, and scour analysis. Key projects include studying erosion in cohesive soils, jet-induced scour in coarse-grained materials, and ecohydraulics for fish passage. She also explores hydraulic mining of oil sands and slurry dynamics.
