Kerrie Reading

Kerrie Reading is a Senior Lecturer in Drama at Bath Spa University's Bath School of Music and Performing Arts. She joined the institution in 2022, following a 15-year freelance career as a theatre practitioner and prior academic roles at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

• Education: PhD (2017), MPhil (2013), and MDrama (2007) from Aberystwyth University, University of Birmingham, and University of Kent respectively.

Kerrie's research explores the body as a site of performance, with a focus on trauma and somatic practices. Her work bridges site-specific performance, community theatre, and archival studies. Key themes include:
