Keri Canada serves as an Academic Success Coordinator II and Instructor at Colorado State University, supporting students in Anthropology, Geography, and Sociology. She holds a Ph.D. candidate status in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno, with prior degrees from California State University, Fullerton (M.A. and B.A. in Anthropology). Her roles emphasize academic mentorship, course development, and promoting experiential learning through internships, field schools, and study abroad programs.
Her research focuses on medical anthropology, particularly sexual and reproductive health behaviors, patient decision-making regarding medical procedures, and cultural aspects of reproduction. She teaches courses such as ANTH101 (Practicing Anthropology), ANTH321 (Beer, Brewing, and Culture), and ANTH333 (Anthropology of Sex and Reproduction). Her publications include textbooks, pedagogical materials, and peer-reviewed articles on gender equity and health-seeking behaviors.
