Kenneth Michael Cummings

Dr. Kenneth Michael Cummings is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) since 2011. As co-leader of the Hollings Cancer Center's Cancer Prevention and Control Program, he spearheads tobacco control research initiatives while directing clinical services for tobacco dependence treatment across university hospitals and clinics. Previously at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (1981-2011) where he served as Department of Health Behavior Chairman, his career spans 40+ years of continuous NIH funding and 600+ publications.
