Kenneth Longden is a Lecturer in Film, Television, and Media at the University of Salford's School of Arts, Media and Creative Technologies. With over 20 years of academic experience since 2004, he serves as both the Academic Misconduct Officer for Film Production and a Module leader for Film Theory and Film Analysis courses. He is affiliated with the university's Creative Technology Research Centre and holds status as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Longden's research spans Film Studies, Television Studies, Narrative Media, and Popular Culture, with specialized expertise in German Cinema, Literary Adaptation (particularly Jane Austen), Science Fiction Film, and Transnational Media.
