Kenneth H Kessler

Kenneth H Kessler is an Associate Professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) with concurrent faculty appointments in the College of Nursing, Chicago Medical School, and College of Health Professions. He joined RFUMS in 2007 and currently serves as Director of the Office of Interprofessional Global Health (as of 2024).

His educational credentials include:

• Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University (2019)
• Prescribing Psychologist Fellowship at AMITA Health/Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health (2021)

Dr. Kessler's research integrates clinical psychology with global mental health initiatives, emphasizing interprofessional collaboration in psychiatric care delivery. His expertise spans psychopharmacology applications for nurse practitioners and cross-cultural mental health program development through RFUMS's Global Health Program.

He maintains active clinical licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Prescribing Psychologist, and Clinical Counselor in Illinois, having previously chaired both the Clinical Counselor and Clinical Psychologist Licensing and Disciplinary Boards for the state.
