Catherine M Gierman-Riblon serves as Associate Dean for Online Learning and Chair of the Interprofessional Healthcare Studies Department at Rosalind Franklin University's College of Health Professions, with additional interim leadership of Health Administration and Population Health departments. She teaches in the Health Professions Education Program and Interprofessional Healthcare Studies doctoral program.

Her research investigates how prior educational and professional experiences influence behavior and attitudes within interprofessional healthcare teams and academic settings. This work bridges interprofessional collaboration, healthcare education psychology, and team dynamics, emphasizing practical applications for improving clinical and educational outcomes through behavioral insights.
With 30 years of clinical nursing across critical care, ambulatory medicine, geriatrics, and school settings, Dr. Riblon brings extensive frontline experience to her academic leadership. Her 19-year tenure as Department Chair at a Chicago private college—where she developed associate-level allied health programs—and prior role as Associate Dean of Nursing at an Illinois community college demonstrate deep expertise in health professions education administration. Since joining Rosalind Franklin University in 2007, she has shaped curriculum development, online learning initiatives, and interprofessional training frameworks.
