Kenneth Blemings

Dr. Kenneth Blemings serves as Dean of the West Virginia University Honors College since 2015, following his appointment as Interim Dean in 2014. Concurrently, he holds a Professor position in the Division of Animal and Nutritional Sciences within the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Design, where he was promoted to full professor in 2010 after joining WVU in 1999.

His research profile centers on Biochemistry, Animal Science, and Nutritional Sciences, directly reflecting his leadership in establishing WVU's intercollegiate undergraduate biochemistry program and academic home in the Division of Animal and Nutritional Sciences. This interdisciplinary focus bridges agricultural sciences with biochemical education.
