Kendall Kahl

Dr. Kendall Kahl is Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Sustainable Organic Agriculture within the University of Idaho's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Her research program examines soil biological communities and ecosystem functions to advance sustainable farming practices in Pacific Northwest dryland systems.

Research investigates earthworm ecology as soil health indicators, fungal community responses to tillage regimes, and integrated weed management strategies for organic production. Extension activities translate findings to agricultural stakeholders through field demonstrations and soil health monitoring protocols.
