Kendall Henderson

Kendall Henderson is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Academic Coach at Auburn University's College of Nursing, where she has taught since 2016. She instructs first and second-semester nursing students in Pathophysiology and Adult Health Nursing while serving as the college's Academic Coach, developing student skills in test-taking, time management, and study techniques. She is currently completing a PhD in Educational Psychology at Auburn University.

Research Focus: Her work centers on transformative strategies in nursing education, including student/faculty wellness initiatives, remediation techniques for academic success, NCLEX preparation, active learning frameworks, and peer mentorship programs. She also explores holistic healthcare education through camp nursing and support group models.

Leadership: Mrs. Henderson founded the National Consortium for Nursing Academic Coaches to foster nationwide collaboration among nursing educators. She advises the AUCON Student Wellness Committee, Student Nurses Christian Fellowship, and Orientation Counselors.

Funding: Secured the SEC Visiting Faculty Travel Grant ($605.28) for professional development.
