Joy DeBellis

Joy Elizabeth DeBellis is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Auburn University College of Nursing, where she has taught in the graduate nurse practitioner program since 2020. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 15+ years of clinical experience in family medicine, cardiology, and veterans’ health, and currently provides outpatient care at Varicosity Vein Center. Her academic and research interests span lifestyle medicine, sleep health, nutrition education, and graduate nursing pedagogy.

The three most recent publications highlight her work in graduate nursing education, hyperinsulinemia management, and sleep health interventions for veterans, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to wellness and clinical training.
