Kenan ÖZCAN is a Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at Adıyaman University, Faculty of Education. He holds a PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision from Marmara University. His academic journey includes roles as a Research Assistant, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Marmara University and Adıyaman University. He has served as the Department Chair of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education (2011-2016) and Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Sciences (2019-2020).
His research focuses on educational leadership, policy analysis, teacher empowerment, and international academic mobility. Notable projects include the EU-funded 'Working Woman Happy Family' project (2017) and the 'School-Family and Community Collaboration' study. He has been recognized with TÜBİTAK awards for international publications in 2012 and 2013.
Prof. ÖZCAN teaches courses on educational policy, leadership, and sustainable development. He has supervised numerous master’s theses and projects, including studies on school-industry partnerships, disadvantaged students, and neoliberal education policies. His work integrates organizational behavior, ethics, and socio-economic factors in education systems.
