Dr. Kelvin J. Kelley is an Associate Professor of Practical Theology at the Logsdon School of Theology, Hardin-Simmons University. He also serves as the coordinator of HSU's Student Diversity programs and is actively involved in community initiatives focused on education and spiritual development.

His academic focus spans Practical Theology, Spiritual Formation, and community engagement strategies, particularly addressing minority student achievement and mentoring underrepresented young men in educational settings.
Dr. Kelley has founded F.A.C.E.S. Ministries, served as a congregational pastor at multiple Baptist churches, and participated in initiatives like the Abilene P-16 Council and the Closing the Gaps Initiative. He is a member of the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education.
