Kelsey Sprowls is an Instructor of Education at Waynesburg University. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in special education from Waynesburg University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction with a focus on special education. Prior to academia, she spent six years teaching middle school special education in public schools.
Her expertise spans special education domains including emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, inclusive education strategies, and teacher training methodology. She is nationally certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist through the 2020 National Board Certification.
Dr. Sprowls' professional focus includes supervising pre-service teachers and developing effective instructional methods for students with diverse educational needs. She currently occupies office 325C Miller Hall and can be reached via email or phone (724-852-3259).
