Kelsey Bogan serves as a Lecturer at San Jose State University's School of Information while simultaneously working as a high school Library Media Specialist in Malvern, PA. She joined SJSU in 2022 and brings extensive practical experience from her work in K-12 school libraries since 2015.
Her research interests focus on modern library practices including:
- Decolonizing and redeveloping library programs for greater inclusivity
- Leveraging social media for library advocacy and outreach
- Reimagining traditional library organization systems
- Diversity audits and inclusive collection development
- Media literacy education
