Kimberli Buckley is a Lecturer at San José State University's School of Information with extensive experience in public library services. She serves as a Senior Community Library Manager with Contra Costa County Library in Northern California, bringing over fifteen years of experience in library programming for teens and adults.
Her professional expertise focuses on:
- Public Libraries and Adult Services
- Serving Homeless Patrons and Disabled Populations
- Life Skills Education for Emerging Adults
- Library Programming and Community Engagement
Ms. Buckley is particularly known for her innovative programs serving homeless patrons and teaching life skills and 'adulting' workshops for teens. She has been a blogger for the Programming Librarian and the YALSA Hub, and maintains her own blog 'Hey There Mrs. Librarian Lady.'
