Dr. Kelly S. Thompson is an Instructor and MFA Mentor in Creative Nonfiction at the University of King’s College. She holds degrees from York University (HonsBA in Professional Writing), UBC (MFA in Creative Writing), Ryerson (Publishing Certificate), and a PhD in Literary and Critical Studies from the University of Gloucestershire. Her research focuses on memoir, grief, and trauma representation.
