Kelly Mac Donald is a Sessional Instructor in the Department of Management at the Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph, and teaches at the School of Economics, University of Waterloo. With 30 years of industry experience in Sales, Sales Training, and Marketing at a Fortune 100 company, she holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from Western University, and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Management at the University of Guelph.

Her research focuses on Organizational Behaviour, particularly older workers in late career stages transitioning to retirement. She has secured three research grants for this work and consults nationwide on Leadership, Resilience, Change Management, Retirement Planning, and Mental Health. Her academic contributions include published papers in management journals.
Teaching spans 3 years at the university level, complemented by adult education roles at the Toronto and Wellington Boards of Education. Professional services include seminars across Canada.
