Dr. Kelly Jones is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at West Texas A&M University's Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences. He teaches Ag Leadership 2300, Agriculture Education courses, and assists with animal science labs while serving as the Herdsmen advisor overseeing the university mascot Thunder XIV.

His research interests span agricultural education, youth leadership development, and practical applications in agricultural mechanical systems and welding. Prior to academia, Dr. Jones accumulated extensive industry experience in feed yards and ranching operations, complementing his teaching approach with real-world insights.
