Kelly A. McCue, DNP, MSN, AOCNS, RN, serves as an Assistant Professor at Colby-Sawyer College's School of Nursing & Health Sciences. She joined the institution as an adjunct assistant professor in 2021 before transitioning to a full-time role the same year.
- Education: BSN from Southern Connecticut State University, MSN/CNS from Loyola University Chicago, DNP (summa cum laude) from Northeastern University
Dr. McCue's expertise spans 30 years of nursing leadership in hospital and outpatient settings, with a focus on interdisciplinary team management and nursing education. Her research interests include epidemiology, healthcare ethics, public health, and oncology nursing.
She contributes to academic leadership as a member of the DNP advisory board at Northeastern University and serves professional organizations such as the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, National League of Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her specialized knowledge extends to healthcare informatics, regulatory processes, and grant writing for vulnerable populations.
