Kellie Cannon

Kellie Cannon is a Senior Lecturer in the Writing Program at Curry College, where she has taught since 2016. She specializes in first-year writing courses, Creative Writing, and SPAL writing courses, and is actively engaged in hosting poetry workshops.

Prior to joining Curry College, Kellie taught writing and literature for nearly a decade in North Carolina. Her creative work has been featured in various literary journals.

She is affiliated with the Writing Program at Curry College, focusing on student-centered writing pedagogy and creative expression. Her academic role emphasizes both instructional excellence and mentorship in writing disciplines.

Outside of academia, Kellie enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs.
