Dr. Kelli MacMillan is a Senior Lecturer in Murdoch University's Postgraduate Psychology Program and a practicing Clinical Psychologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital. She leads research on childbirth trauma, coercive control in relationships, infant sleep, and vicarious trauma among healthcare workers. Her qualifications include a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Murdoch University, BSc(Hons) in Psychology, and BA LLB from the University of Western Australia.
Her research program focuses on translating findings into community practice through podcasts, workshops, and collaborative projects with national and international partners. She has contributed to the Handbook of Perinatal Mental Health Disorders and serves on not-for-profit boards in the education sector.
Dr. MacMillan's clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches for perinatal populations while her research examines systemic factors affecting maternal and child wellbeing. She maintains active clinical supervision responsibilities and mentors early-career psychologists through Murdoch's postgraduate programs.
