Roles and Affiliations: Keivan Armani is an Advanced Research Fellow at Imperial College London's School of Public Health (part of the Faculty of Medicine), and serves as a Guest Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University, Malaysia (2023–2025). He collaborates with the Primary Care and Public Health (PCPH) team, NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West London (ARC NWL), and the Ethnicity Health Unit (EHU).
Education: PhD in Medical Education and Public Health, MClin Pharm, B.Pharm.
Research Interests: Focuses on HIV/AIDS-related stigma, evidence-based medicine, and health inequalities. Current projects assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health disparities in Northwest London. Engages in global health initiatives as a Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Collaborator with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), University of Washington.
Teaching and Experience: Over a decade of academic experience across three universities in pharmacy, medicine, and clinical pharmacology education. Developed modules on pharmacology, therapeutics, and evidence-based medicine. Conducted cross-cultural studies on stigma in healthcare education involving universities in Australia and Malaysia.
Affiliations: Member of the Iran Medical Council. Active in the NIHR ARC NWL’s Innovation & Evaluation Theme and the Ethnicity Health Unit.
