Dr. Keith Young is an Assistant Professor in ICT/Digital Learning in the Department of STEM Education at Mary Immaculate College. His research focuses on developing teachers' capacity to engage with digital technologies, with particular emphasis on digital competence, educational technology, inclusive education, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence in educational settings.
His work examines how emerging technologies transform teaching practices and student learning experiences. He has previously held academic positions at the University of Limerick, Hibernia College, and Maynooth University.
