Keith Thompson

Keith Thompson is the Associate Director of Research for Western Space and an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. He focuses on leveraging technology to advance health equity in underserved regions through virtual care systems and space-based innovations.

• Current research involves defining best practices for virtual care under Dr. Bridget Ryan and leading a virtual care resident survey during the pandemic.
• Active in collaborative initiatives with WONCA (World Congress of Family Doctors), IEEE SA Telehealth Industry Connections, and the Novartis Foundation.
• Specializes in stakeholder facilitation for knowledge exchange in space health, rural/remote healthcare, and digital literacy projects.
