Professor Anthony Smith is Director of the Centre for Online Health (COH) at The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences and Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. With 25+ years in telehealth research, he focuses on scalable virtual care models, Indigenous health equity, and workforce training. His leadership includes editorship of the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare and chairing the International Conference on Successes and Failures in Telehealth.
Research Interests: Smith’s work spans telehealth feasibility, consumer engagement, and technology-supported care in underserved populations.
