Dr. Jaimon Kelly is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland (UQ), affiliated with the Centre for Online Health, Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. He holds a PhD from Bond University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Tasmania. His research focuses on technology-enabled health systems, chronic disease management, and improving nutrition communication through digital tools. Key areas include telehealth equity for culturally diverse populations, digital interventions for kidney disease, and policy advocacy for virtual care funding.
Dr. Kelly leads projects funded by institutions like the Queensland Government and AMGEN Australia, addressing telehealth access, nutrition care models, and palliative care telementoring. His work has influenced international guidelines, including the Dietitians Australia Telehealth Position Statement. Awards include the VC Award for Early Career Research Excellence, recognizing his contributions to telehealth.
