Keith Cozine is a Professor of Homeland Security at The Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies, St. John's University in Queens, NY. He brings nearly fifteen years of law enforcement and intelligence experience dealing with transnational crime, terrorism, and border security.
His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Ph.D. in Global Affairs, both from Rutgers University.
Dr. Cozine's research focuses on Intelligence Education, Border Security and intelligence, and the Global Governance of Transnational Threats. His work addresses critical issues in homeland security, including the interplay between intelligence gathering and border security, and the international frameworks for combating transnational threats.
Among his notable recognitions is the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner’s “Anti-Terrorism Award”.
At St. John's, Dr. Cozine teaches courses such as Intelligence Collection, Seminar in Global Terrorism, Migration & Border Security, and Theories & Concepts of Security. He also supervises dissertation research for doctoral students.
