Keith Alexander

Keith Alexander is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California - Berkeley. He serves as the Executive Director of the Product Development Program (PDP), a graduate-level initiative focused on bridging technical innovation with commercial success in industries like biotechnology, consumer products, and nanotechnology.

His research interests center on New Product Development and Technology Commercialization, emphasizing the integration of chemical engineering principles with business practices. Prior to his current role, Dr. Alexander held executive positions at CH2M Hill and McKinsey & Company, where he led ventures in environmental engineering and strategic consulting.

As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, he earned his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley. His career spans over 15 years in corporate leadership and academia, contributing to the development of sustainable and scalable product strategies.
